The Red Umbrella

My dear friend and fellow artist, Karen Wiginton, painted this hauntingly beautiful watercolor for me. Over the years, Karen and I have often exchanged our creations — I work in glass, she works in paint. When she gifted me this piece, I was immediately struck by its power. The image lingered in my heart, quietly insisting that there was a story waiting to be told.

That story became The Red Umbrella.
